QuickBooks is included. Your QuickBooks Online subscription is part of every package, so you don't pay Intuit separately. Already paying for it yourself and want to keep it that way? I'll take $25 a month off. Not sure which package fits? Book a call and I'll tell you honestly. If you're between two, I'll start you on the smaller one.

Diagnostic: $200
I look through your statements (and QuickBooks file, if you have one) and tell you exactly what needs fixing, how long it'll take and what it'll cost. The $200 comes off your cleanup if you go ahead.
A fixed quote
Usually $150–$250 per month of backlog, depending on how busy and how tangled things are ($500 minimum). Your QuickBooks subscription for the project is included.
The cleanup
I categorize, reconcile and correct everything, then walk you through what I found. Sign up for 6 months of monthly bookkeeping afterwards and I'll take 20% off the cleanup.
Founding-client rate
My first five monthly clients get 15% off their package, locked in for 12 months.

I've been on your side of the desk
For over seven years I co-ran a dog-walking business, so I know how stressful it can be to keep your books organized. I remember getting home after a long day, opening QuickBooks late at night, and trying to figure out that one transaction I'd forgotten about. I lost hours of sleep reverse-engineering it. I did figure it out in the end, and I've since rebuilt seven years of mixed personal and business finances from scratch, so whatever state your books are in, I've probably seen worse. If you're embarrassed about the state of your books, please don't be. There's no judgment here, just a plan to get you sorted.

How I use AI
I use AI to do the repetitive first pass, which is part of how I keep my prices fair. Then I review every transaction myself. Nothing goes to you or the CRA without my sign-off, and I don't put your information into outside AI tools without your OK.

Frequently asked
My books are a mess. Is that a problem?
Not at all. That's what cleanups are for. I've untangled seven years of my own mixed finances, so I won't judge. I'll just tell you what it takes to fix.
Do you charge by the hour?
No. Flat monthly prices, so you never get a surprise bill. If your business grows past your package, I'll tell you before anything changes.
Is QuickBooks really included?
Yes. QuickBooks Online Essentials is part of every monthly package. If you need a bigger plan, I'll add only the difference, at my cost.
What happens to my books if I leave?
They're yours, always. I'll hand your QuickBooks subscription back to you so you can keep going with no gap.
Do you do payroll or tax returns?
No. I focus on bookkeeping and HST so I can do them really well. I'll gladly refer you to people I trust, and have your books ready for them.
Why not just have my accountant do it?
You can! Accountants usually charge more per hour, and bookkeeping is all I do, every month. Think of it as a tag team: I keep your numbers clean, so your accountant's year-end work is quicker and usually cheaper.
I don't use QuickBooks Online. Can you still help?
Yes. If you're on spreadsheets or a shoebox of receipts, I'll set you up in QuickBooks as part of your cleanup.
Do we ever meet?
Everything's virtual: video calls whenever they help, email the rest of the time. I work with businesses anywhere in Canada.
